In this class , we talked about,
The Indus Valley culture
[ 10000BC ] is also regarded as the first dispersed village in India. The term Indus Valley derives from the Indus River, which is also the first civilization to arise along with the Egyptian and Greek cultures. The identities of this civilization are inferred from the Indus River. It was known for its fertile land, architecture and commerce.
Recognized for its good urban planning and agricultural activities and a wide range of agricultural tools. They even worshiped the female gods because, they were considered to be sacred and holy because of their depictions.
In 7500 BC, the first archaeological material remains were found in Mehergarh [ first copper melted ] which was the first town we had ,first settled down in India. It was during the Chalcolithic generation. Malwa(1600-1300BC) and Jorwe(early phase 1600-1000BC) are the prime examples of this age. The area had an agriculture similar to that of Malwa, but with improvements, geometric patterns in black, traded with Karnataka for gold and the coast for fish.
Even, that were very intriguing about this community were that they had forfeited walls to demonstrate enemies, that there was someone living in the city who needed protection.
CONCLUSION:
Ultimately, the Indus Valley society was preferable to Jorwe and Malwa because it had stronger urban planning than both communities.
