Old tools with Photoshop
The class started and sir showed us the tools which we learnt in in illustrator like brush, clip masking and how different are the?. We learnt how without making changes in the image itself, creating an edited layer over it, This will keep the image intact.
Movie Poster
I made a poster of the movie “LA LA LAND” , Tools used Brush, quick selection, magic wand, Layer masking and clip masking.The Dance pose, piano keyboard, constellations image were all layer masked .The text of title La la land is clip masked using an image.
Creating this poster was a bit challenging for me, layer masking requires specific selection of layers on which it needs to be applied on. With repetitive efforts I finally was able to learn this feature.
Clipping Mask
In Photoshop creating clip masking has different set of steps, the text has to be arranged behind the image. I choose a landscape from my own photography and increased saturation and hue.
