Introduction
An introduction to the topic, we began by learning the details of fashion and also what went on to make a set or a collection campaign .
We explored the development process of designing and creating a set , beginning with finding an idea, studying it, developing a mood board, color palette, focusing on the material, designing method, discovering style and content, pattern making, sewing, etc.
Collection’s ideas
Ma’am then asked us to think of multiple ideas for a collection, After brainstorming about various things , The ideas that really excited me were :
001 –Men’s fashion to women
In this one, I wanted to take the standardized looks worn by the men, and make some changes to make it look more strong, bold , front walk look.
002 –Smoke flow
The flow of the reminded of many famous designer like Yohji Yamamoto ‘s aesthetic with the flow of the garment, I wanted create something inspiring from the “concept of flow of the smoke in the air”
003- Vietnamese Head gears
The concept of headgear always fascinated me , the beautiful headgear creates such a strong statement sometimes, that the minimal clothing is required to balance the whole style of the look.
004- Weathering and Tropical
Cross Bedding lines – Sets of lines that are inclined relative to one another. They are created in the direction that the flow of the force is inclined towards.
The flow of the lines of weathering on the rocks starts collectively from high points to lower ones and eventually down to a larger body, which makes the flow downward on the rocks .
The flow of the lines can be placed on the curves of the silhouette, complimenting the body type.
