As the class started everyone presented their posters , explained which gestalt principles every poster had, everyone explained the tools and process of creation of their poster, this gave us an idea of everyone’s perspective in the creation and usage of tools. I created a poster of a bird , I tried creating sharp details using pen tool , shape builder tool, pathfinder .
PROCESS OF WORK –
Trace the image
We were then, taught about how to trace an image using pen tool and created a similar one on illustrator. Using pen tool we were told to trace logos of companies and brand. With this we realized that how everything can be created from scratch . Tracing circle or curve with pen tool was difficult but patience we can trace with pen tool efficiently.
Tools
Sir, taught us about some new tool such as :
- BLEND TOOL : With this tool two or more can be blended together, the distance between the shapes and number of shapes can be customize
- EFFECTS: it has many options , distort and transform
- GRADIENT: This adds gradient of multiple colors to the basic shapes and figures
