Linear Drawings

Linear Drawings is creating a representation of an object with lines. No crossing over lines .

Usage of parallel lines, converging and diverging lines is there.

Sir, showed a book as reference which consists of several complex linear or contour drawings. Sir, explained to us how linear drawings shouldn’t be restricted to wrist movement but should be done with the whole body movement to create fine, straight lines without any break. Then, Jai sir asked us to draw our own hand but, without making outline with a pen .Creating straight lines isn’t an easy task. Initially I tried completing it in hurry, linear drawings requires patience .

Then, Sir told us to create 20 objects with linear drawings of the objects as an assignment for the next class.Linear drawings requires patience , practice of straight lines .

Practising with this, has helped me to create more interesting linear drawings.
