VECTOR VS RASTER
The class started with introduction about the two terms vector and raster. Sir, divided the class in 4 groups, I was a part of team vector. We all had to collect in depth knowledge about our topic and debate why its better than the other. Computer graphics can be created as either raster or vector images. Raster graphics are bitmaps. Through this debate we got knowledge about the graphics their pro, cons, applicability, uses etc.
For e.g.: Raster is often used in jpeg, PDFs, gifs. It is used in Photoshop whereas vector is used in illustrator. The debate bought enthusiasm in the class, as everyone put up strong points, even sir told us some insightful information about new terms. This activity boosted our team spirit.
Later, sir introduced us Adobe Illustrator,How to create an art board, and many variant tools like, pen tool, selection tool, fill tool ,shape tool. With this class ended. We all explored illustrator and got familiarized with software
